Read MoreThanks to generous support from the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine (CMTM) will present a Not-So-Scary Halloween celebration on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 10 am to 1 pm designed for toddlers and their caregivers. The event is part of a calendar of family-friendly events and a new 21+ After Dark series intended to provide a broad range of programming and access to the Museum & Theatre.
This fall, Visiting Artist Brittany Burke will guide visitors through the process of molding and painting hexagonal wax sheets to create a sculpture inspired by the essential role that bees play in our environment. Each piece will be added to the sculpture in order to create a collaborative work of art, just as bees collaborate to create their hive.
