Science for Tots: Teeth and Bones

  • The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Get your magnifying glass ready and become a detective in this toothy program! As detectives, we will explore animal skulls, teeth, and the adaptations that help them survive in our world. Solve the mystery to learn more about your favorite animals and how they are similar and different from you!

Science for Tots is a weekly gathering of families with children five and under to explore many aspects of science through an early childhood lens. Educators use play, drama, movement, and sensory investigations to explore topics from as small as microbes to as large as whales! Each interactive program could include science experiments, meeting live animals, and art making. These activities, carefully crafted for our youngest visitors, will have children intrigued, giggling, sharing, and engaged in playful learning. Come for one week or join together weekly to grow our community and future environmental stewards.

Location: IDEXX STEM Learning Hub, 3rd Floor
