Then, countdown to 2025 with a special interactive performance and Sea Star Drop in CMTM’s Maddy’s Theatre!

Then, Countdown to 2023 at 10 am, 11 am, and noon with a special Sea Star Drop in Maddy’s Theatre.
This is a block-out date for CMTM members. Members receive a 10% discount. For more information about block-out dates, visit our membership page.
There are days every year that are particularly popular with our entire community. In order to ensure that all visitors have a chance to visit on these special days and acknowledge that members often have increased flexibility on other dates, we block out these times as ‘member block-out dates. On these special dates, members are welcome to attend but will receive a 10% discount instead of their normal free admission.
Please consider bringing a non-perishable food donation to the celebration. This winter, CMTM is partnering with Wayside Food Programs and HP Hood to bring nutritional food to Maine families.

Join us to celebrate Tu B'Shevat, the Jewish New Year of the Trees. We will share a story, talk about why trees are important to us and plant seedlings together. Co-sponsored by PJ Library in Southern Maine and The Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine.

Celebrate the end of the decade with a party to remember!
9 am to Noon: Get your face painted or make a snazzy crown to celebrate the you of 2020. Make a New Year’s wishing wand and dance the morning away.
Noon: Gather in the playscape to help countdown to noon and watch hundreds of colorful beach balls drop from above! All events are included with the event ticket.
1 pm: The Museum & Theatre will be closing to the general public.
$12.50/person (babies 17 months and under are free). Members are FREE.

The Museum & Theatre is open to the general public from 9 am-1 pm today for our two-part New Year’s celebration! After 1 pm we will be closed to the general public while we host a Play Your Way event for the afternoon.

2 - 4 PM We will be closed to the public after 1 PM as we will be hosting a special Play Your Way New Year’s Eve event from 2-4 pm for children who benefit from calmer and quieter play times. There is limited space for this event. This event has limited space so please reserve a ticket.
