 The actors featured in A Year with Frog and Toad are fully vaccinated. The actors will maintain a 3 foot distance from the first row of audience seating. All crew, technicians and ushers will wear masks.

 Audience members age 2+ must wear a mask or appropriate facial covering during the performance. The Museum & Theatre will be seating Maddy's Theatre at limited capacity, and encouraging families to put an empty seat between family groups. Currently, we allow only one family in the viewing gallery at a time.

Follow the cheerful, popular Frog and his friend, the rather grumpy Toad, as they plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. This Tony-nominated Broadway hit is sure to enchant families with its bubbly score and heartwarming story.

Wazo Daveed is an artist, musician, and youth advocate. Daveed has worked with fashion, music and visual arts and created a youth art collective called Kesho Wazo.  Kesho Wazo translates to “Tomorrow’s Ideas” in Swahili and the focus of the collective is youth art and creating a platform for young people by advancing youth ideas through artistic expressions, individuality, and cultural experiences. This evening, Daveed with bring three artists to share their music with Museum & Theatre visitors. Although his career as an artist is just getting started, Daveed opened for music legend and co-founder of the Fugees, Wyclef Jean, this past summer at Aura in Portland, Maine.

Come hear and experience LIVE music from Portland-based 240 Strings, an organization that provides free music lessons to Portland youth. Teaching artist, Wayne Smith, will perform classical cello and share about his instrument. This program is made possible by The Onion Foundation.

Dive into the world of ukuleles during this four week class. Learn basic strumming, chord patterns, and a variety of simple songs as we explore creating music together. Jump into the world of ukuleles! Learn basic rhythm patterns with help from shakers and bells. Then tune up and start strumming the ukulele as we learn basic chords to strum along to the classic songs. Participants will need a ukulele for the duration of the class.
