This space is designed for Makers!

Open 9:30 am - 3:30 pm for you to draw, build, or engineer something new. Upon entering MakerSpace, you are invited to explore the bins and tables for materials and free choice art supplies, including a large variety of objects that promote recycling and sustainability in creative ways. We can’t wait to see what you make!

The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is the perfect place for indoor & outdoor educational fun this April Vacation Week! Museum visits run in three-hour sessions from 9 am to 4 pm every day. New this year: open Tuesday during April Vacation Week! Each day highlights a variety of free, educational, hands-on activities in addition to exploring the exhibits. Check out our daily specials on the chalkboard when you arrive!
